Pro-Light DX LED & Power/Control Pack Installation:
PLEASE NOTE: Power/Control Pack is NOT 100% Waterproof.
In extremely heavy rain conditions, cover Power/Control Pack for added
protection.
1. Screw LED into tapped hole and tighten firmly with fingers. For
installation into a competition scope and/or adding a tapped hole into a
scope or sight, see Competition Scope Installation.
2. Bend wires to one side of LED and secure with Zip tie around LED, or
press on black rubber cap for maximum protection. See pictures at right.
Allow wires to hang temporarily.
3. Determine location for Power/Control Pack, on sight bar or bow riser.
4. Alcohol wipe area a Velcro pad will be placed on bow or sight. Wipe dry
or allow to air dry.
5. Remove hard Velcro Pad from soft Velcro pad on back of P/C pack. Peel
backing off hard Velcro pad and adhere to pre-determined location. Press
firmly for 20 seconds. Trim pad to fit if necessary.
6. Remove screw from top side of Power/Control Pack and separate halves.
Insert a battery into each battery holder with the positive side facing
upward. Replace cover and Phillips screw onto base.
7. Align soft Velcro pad on Power/Control Pack with hard Velcro pad and
press firmly.
8. Adhere a second hard Velcro pad (trim to fit) to opposite side of sight
bar or bow riser. Velcro straps must wrap over second hard Velcro pad and
P/C Pack to ensure maximum P/C Pack stability.
9. Plug LED Assy. wire into P/C Pack. For competition setups use top port;
for hunting use bottom.
10. Run LED wire along sight/scope housing and secure with Zip ties or
extra Velcro strapping. Allow necessary slack in LED Assembly wire for
yardage adjusting. See pictures. |
